These are my ideas/suggestions for the more cultural side of things which I have NOT organised yet and so will need your help:

African and other groups will be invited to enter their best community cook or chef in a blind tasting pageant of African Caribbean cuisine for the public. The top 3 get a chance to visit a famous Scottish restaurant kitchen and the winner to present their food menu as a regular main feature at the African Caribbean Centre for the next 6 months. Venues: ACC and Camflava - Dates TBC: Saturday/Sunday - co-hosted by the Central West Integration Network

5. PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION: Haiti Support Group veteran photographer Leah Gordon's brings her latest work after the January 2010 earthquake killed 200,000 Haitians and made a million homeless. Co-hosted jointly with HSG and STUC support. Venues possibly STUC and ACC throughout the Month of October with launch during the opening week with Haitian Ambassador to UK.

6. AFRICAN COMEDY STAR 2010: Kalonde and Katai the Wasasa brothers look for fresh African & Caribbean comedy talent at Byblos (Fridays); ACC (Saturdays) and CamFlava (Sundays) in October.
